Hello! We are The Jacks.

A fantastic wedding and events band that will absolutely blow your socks off! We pride ourselves in being one of the best wedding bands Hertfordshire has to offer, playing the best in pop and rock with a fun and folky twist, and we'll be sure to have your guests up and dancing all night!

If you are tired of the ‘same old same old’ cheesy function band, and are looking for something a little bit different then we could be right up your street. Our Mumford and Sons style is perfect for a festival style wedding, and will complement any event with our carefree and fun vibe.

The band got to know each other while studying at the Academy of Contemporary Music in Guildford, and we formed The Jacks soon after uni.

We will play a floor-filling mix of popular modern hits as well as the classics that everyone knows and loves, and get all your guests in the spirit of things!

The Jacks can offer two very distinct styles for your event. Our first set will be in our signature folk style, which is perfect for easing the audience in, and then later we will let loose with our electric set. Having these two styles gives us variety to any wedding or party to make it feel like a mini festival of your own!

Our folk set includes songs from bands such as Mumford and Sons, The Lumineers, and Paulo Nutini, but also some that you might not be quite expecting! Ever heard a folk version of ’Shake it Off’ by Taylor Swift? You won’t be disappointed! Our electric set is hand-picked from our repertoire of classic and contemporary chart hits, which they play in their own upbeat way.

The Jacks regularly play at weddings all over the UK and abroad. Their standard wedding service includes the following…

- 3 x 45 mins of music, usually between 7pm & 12am. (this can be a mix of 2 sets electric and 1 set folk or vice versa)
- Recorded music between sets so you don’t need to hire a DJ and you’re guests can continue dancing all night.
- First dance learnt and performed.
- All equipment, PA and stage lighting.

The band can also offer extras including;

- Earlier background music sets during drinks reception or wedding breakfast.
- Earlier arrival to be set-up before the meal
- Use of their PA for speeches if needed.

We are also fully PAT certified, and have full public liability insurance. Your wedding venue is likely to require both of these in order for the band to be allowed to perform.
